As Business Development Manager for international life sciences company LGC Limited, Terence has commercial responsibility for its supplements testing services and certification programmes – including Informed Choice and Informed Sport – in Europe, Asia-Pacific and Africa.
Prior to joining LGC, Terence worked for the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) in Montreal, which allowed him to develop expertise in anti-doping. This experience and knowledge has been crucial in making Informed Choice and Informed Sport the leading supplements certification programmes worldwide.
Helping the global sports nutrition industry provide cleaner, safer and higher quality products to athletes and consumers has been Terence’s main focus for the last 10 years. He serves as a Vice-Chair of the European Specialist Sports Nutrition Alliance (ESSNA) and advises a range of sports and anti-doping bodies on the safe use of supplements.
In addition to his commercial role, Terence also has responsibility for developing partnerships with key stakeholders in sport and anti-doping, including the Japan Coaches Association (JCA), the Institute of national Anti-Doping Agencies (iNADO) and Sports Dieticians Australia (SDA).
Terence spent the first half of his career in sports communications, working for several international sports organisations. In addition to WADA, he also worked for the Asian PGA Tour, the International Volleyball Federation (FIVB) and Ladies European Tour (LET). He also reported on sport for Reuters, SKY and Eurosport.
